And I hope everything goes well. You have a great attitude, and I can see how this can be scary, but also challenging and exciting. And this tapioca pudding sounds delicious :)

Re: Strawberry Coconut Tapioca Pudding

Good luck with the new diet! It sounds very similar to Paleo (I think we've talked about this though) but hopefully it works out! Do you read All Day I Dream About Food? Her blog is very diet friendly and she has a ton of delicious gluten and dairy free recipes!

Re: Strawberry Basil Almond Muffins

I'm sorry to hear about your stomach troubles, Taryn. I suffer from crippling digestive disorders as well. I chose to go the "eat everything in moderation" route, and I respect you so much for going all the way. I've learned to eat what I love with other things and at certain times that make life easier for me, but I still suffer as a result. Have you been feeling better, or is it too early to tell? I love the flavors in these muffins, and I think you'll be fine if you keep making recipes like this one! Keep us posted on your adventures!

Re: Strawberry Coconut Tapioca Pudding

You should go to the DR to get tested (unless i missed that bit). I was haivng a lot of stomach pain last year, I went gluten free and it helped but when i was tested it came back that i did not in any way have a gluten allgery. Since then I have been much more careful with my diet, still limiteding gluten at times. The DR just felt it was IBS as I was under a lot of stress last year. Thankfully a lot of stress has let up and my stomach issues have as well.

Re: Strawberry Basil Almond Muffins

these muffins look so awesome!!

Re: Strawberry Coconut Tapioca Pudding

When you menitoned your new diet on Sunday, I had a feeling you were doing the low FODMAP thing. I've heard a lot about, I have lots of friends with digestive disorders. Good luck! I know it's scary but so is daily pain. I hope it works out. And btw, do you know Cara of Cara's Cravings? She decided to eliminate gluten to see some changes in her body and now that she doesn't "have to," she continues to bake this way. She actually enjoys this change now despite the scary beginning. Hope it's the same experience for you!

Re: Chocolate Oat Dulce de Leche Bars

These look positively SINFUL! Kristy does have some fabulous recipes on her blog and I really like your take on her brioche buns. I totally sympathise with you about halving/doubling recipes - no matter what I do when I do that I always seem to somehow confuse myself! Having said that, these look so good, I see no problem with extra large versions of them :-)

Re: Lemon Cream Cheese Sticky Buns

I'm visiting from Gastronomical Sovereignty, via her post for the SRC.
